Others would purposely run in front of and get hit by his limousines to grab his attention. Some fans would pretend to commit suicide to force Jackson to talk to them. Some women would falsely claim that he was the father of their children, with one obsessive female stalker even legally changing her name to "Billie Jean" after his song.
